well i've decided to take a break from car conversion, because lets face it, you can swing a cat, (dont get ansy pansy on me, i love cats, lol) you can hit a car conversion of some description,

so i've decided it's time to do some track work again.

i've decided to convert fvr's sydney race track, this will go well with my 2010 v8mod that will be out later this year...(when i get it finished hehe)

at this point i have no screens to show you, but will in good time..to find out more about this track and it's significance

back with some screens soon - remember this is not something that can be done in a day or even a week, so please dont ask when will it be done...as i dont have any idea lol

5 new screenshots for today, things are starting to come together, unfortunately i may have to drop a couple of buildings because i am unsure if i can bring it under 256 material count, but i'll try to do it for sure. thanks for reading, hope you like what your seeing so far cheers

The material limit is a real problem but think of the following:
- A material can contain several textures if they are mapped intelligent
- You can use the same materials for multiple buildings

yep am very aware of that...and i maybe able to get it under the limit..due to the fact that some of the objects can and will be cloned..ie streetlamps and a couple of buildings...

10 new screens to show progress, as you can see that i've done alot since my last set of SS, there is still alot to do..but i'm getting there

Yeah looks already pretty cool, i´m sure, if you can get it more "alive" it´s gonna be really great! But as you said, you´ve got alot to do. So i´m excited about the next progress. good luck!

Nice, looks well done. No bumps on the track?
The advertisement looks a bit huge, that's a bit unrealistic in my opinion. Did you place objects yet or is it all modelled scenery?
By the way, there are trees on track

I'm excited about the video, will be great to get a better feeling for the track!
